Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in system study to undertake engineering design roles for projects in the Transmission and Distribution sector primarily in the UK and Middle East.

This role involves conducting simulations and analytical studies for transmission and distribution, planning, load and generation interconnection, integration of renewables.

The ideal candidate will have experience in system study software such as ETAP, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, and possess knowledge of PSSE, MATLAB/Simulink and Python coding.

About the Role
  • Prepare simulation study models and carry out power system studies including grid compliance studies for Wind, Solar, BESS and Hybrid projects.
  • Perform steady state and dynamic power flow analysis, fault ride through studies, short circuit calculation, power quality analysis, electro magnetic transient analysis (EMTP) such as switching and lightning transient studies, energization studies etc.
  • Dynamically simulate networks involving HVDC, FACTS and inverter based generation.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out consulting, research and development study projects, analyzing study results and recommending solutions as per requirements and discussing/clarifying clients with help of results.

Requirements
  • Masters/Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-8 years of relevant industrial experience.
  • Experience in system study softwares such as ETAP, DIgSILENT, PSCAD, etc.
  • Knowledge of PSSE, MATLAB/Simulink and any other system study software, competency in Python coding, experience of working on Traction simulation studies.
