Job Title

We are seeking a Senior Power Electronics Specialist to lead the end-to-end hardware development of high-voltage systems, including battery management interfaces.

This role requires experience in HV systems hardware design and battery management system design at a senior position. The ideal candidate will have expertise in power electronics circuits, simulation, modelling, and analysis using tools like PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, or LTspice.

Responsibilities
  • Define system hardware architecture and component specifications for high-voltage (400V–800V) battery systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and validation.
  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD, adhering to automotive standards.
  • Select and integrate components such as MCUs, ADCs, op-amps, shunt resistors, Hall-effect sensors, and isolation devices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and design documentation.
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for understanding complex power electronic systems and their integration with vehicle systems.
  • Experience with agile methods and toolsets such as JIRA, SCRUM, KANBAN etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of HV Product Development for EV, System Engineering, and the product development life cycle.
  • Expertise in Design, development, integration, and validation of electrical systems into the overall vehicle electrical architecture for OEMs/Tier 1s.
  • Good engineering knowledge of various vehicle subsystems, including PWT(ICE+BEV), Chassis, Body, Security, Infotainment, Diagnostics, Electrical systems ECUs(s), design, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
  • Strong understanding of high-voltage systems, safety protocols, and thermal management.
  • Hands-on experience in CAN tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, DET) would be an advantage.
