Objective:

Tax Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Supervisor to oversee tax processes and drive delivery of services to meet deadlines for client deliverables. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in partnership taxation, strong analytical and project management skills, and proficiency in CCH Axcess tax software, Caseware, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review US tax returns for form 1065 Partnerships (PE/HF/FOF), conduct independent tax research, interact with all levels of the team to ensure timeliness and effective communication on an engagement.
  • Oversee tax processes by coordinating day-to-day interactions with the team, reviewing engagement work product, driving delivery of services to meet deadlines for client deliverables, developing internal team members, and managing the functional efforts of such tax processes.
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, manage others, and meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit exceptional client relationship management and client service skills.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in partnership taxation.
  • Qualifications: CA, CA Inter, CPA, EA, MBA Finance, M.COM, B.com, BBA.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of US income tax laws.
  • Develop and train new and experienced staff.
  • Exercise initiative and sound judgement.
  • Responsive to clients.
  • Strong writing, Excel modeling, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in CCH Axcess tax software, Caseware, Microsoft Office applications, and expert in tax research software (Bloomberg BNA, RIA Checkpoint, Intelliconnect).
