Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GST compliance and export operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and ensuring timely submissions.
  • Handling GST audits and staying updated with changes in GST laws.
  • Preparing and maintaining export documentation such as shipping bills, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
  • Coordinating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and ensuring smooth clearance of shipments.
  • Managing foreign inward remittances by clearing Bank Realization Certificates (BRCs) and ensuring compliance with FOREX regulations.
  • Reconciling accounts related to export sales and providing accurate reports to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in GST compliance and export documentation.
  • Strong understanding of GST laws, export procedures, and customs regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Busy accounting software (experience with other ERP systems is a plus).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience in the automotive or export industry will be an added advantage.
Auditing and Compliance Expertise

The ideal candidate will have strong auditing and compliance expertise, particularly in GST laws and regulations. This includes:

  • Staying up-to-date with changes in GST laws and regulations.
  • Developing and implementing effective audit processes to ensure compliance.
  • Providing guidance on GST-related matters to internal stakeholders.
