Job Summary:

As a seasoned Windchill Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end solutions that align with business objectives and technical standards. Your expertise in customization, Java development, APIs, and system integration will be invaluable in delivering high-quality PLM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead system architecture planning, including customization, integration, data migration, and system upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale PLM projects.
  • Define technical standards, best practices, and governance for implementations and customizations.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable designs.
  • Oversee and review activities to ensure compliance with architectural guidelines.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development and support teams.
  • Evaluate new releases and advise on adoption strategies.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and security of PLM systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Windchill architecture and implementations.
  • Deep understanding of Windchill modules and PLM workflows.
  • Strong expertise in customization, Java development, APIs, and system integration.
  • Proven experience in solution architecture, system design, and implementation of large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of product development lifecycle and manufacturing workflows.
  • Experience with database design, performance tuning, and system security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Windchill certifications.
  • Experience with other PLM systems integration.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies like IoT and digital twins concepts related to PLM.
