The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracting, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work effectively with governmental agencies and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
• Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Ensure Timely and Successful Completion of Projects: Ensure timely and successful completion of projects in accordance with contract requirements and government regulations.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and government clients.
• Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with government regulations, standards, and contractual obligations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Resource Allocation: Manage project resources, including team members, budget, and materials.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to internal teams and government stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Education: Degree in project management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience managing government projects.
Proven experience in handling government contracts, compliance, and regulations.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances if required.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
