The role of Cognos Administrator is a key position within our organization. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and upgrade of Cognos and Informatica application components.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Cognos and Informatica servers, clients, and related tools
  • Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of Cognos and Informatica environments
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cognos and Informatica applications, databases, servers, and integrations
  • Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and implementation

  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions within Cognos and Informatica environments
  • Coordinate with vendors for product support, patches, upgrades, and license management
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Cognos and Informatica technologies
