Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Coordinator to plan and deliver health awareness events in medical colleges, district hospitals, and public institutions.

This role involves liaison with government health departments, hospital administrators, and officials to build partnerships that align our programs with state-level priorities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • I. Government Liaison & Advocacy
  • • Build strong relationships with government officials, hospital administrators, and healthcare professionals.
  • • Manage permissions, approvals, and compliance for awareness programs in government medical colleges and district hospitals.
  • • Align our activities with state health strategies and provide documentation to enable long-term collaboration.
  • • Represent us in government consultations, workshops, and meetings when needed.
  • II. Event Planning & Execution
  • • Coordinate with hospitals, corporates, and other organizations to host awareness events, literacy campaigns, and health camps.
  • • Mobilise participants and ensure smooth program delivery by liaising with doctors, patient advocates, and speakers.
  • • Manage logistics such as venue permissions, approvals for promotional materials, volunteer coordination, and equipment support.
  • III. Documentation & Reporting
  • • Prepare event reports, outcome summaries, and documentation in formats used by government health departments.
  • • Collect basic monitoring data (attendance, feedback, awareness indicators) and share with our central team.
  • • Follow up with hospitals and government offices to sustain engagement.
  • IV. Partnership Development
  • • Identify and pursue opportunities to embed our programs within government health initiatives.
  • • Facilitate sponsorships, partnerships, or co-hosted programs when relevant.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • • 5–7 years' experience in public health, NGOs, CSR, hospitals, or development programs.
  • • Demonstrated work with government health systems (health departments, hospitals).
  • • Prior exposure to organizing community health events, awareness campaigns, or patient engagement programs.
  • • Strong networking, negotiation, and coordination skills with ability to navigate government processes.
  • • Proficiency in local language for effective engagement with hospitals and communities.
  • • Preferred: Lived experience as a patient or having a close family member with a similar condition, to bring authentic perspectives.
