Job Responsibilities
Export Control
Pre-Sales Stage
- Involve at bid stage to understand Export Control requirements and take required steps for Export compliance before submission of bids. Eg Support team in ECCN form completion, Export control assessment.
- Lead and work closely with the Sales, legal, and other relevant teams, and act as a bridge between the business and technical teams for Export Control compliance completion.
- Highlight any redlining of contractual terms and conditions for Export Control to the Lead CCM for each bid.
- Responsibility of Export Control assessments for India. Lead required discussions internally with Legal India, Lead CCM and India Law firm. Complete required forms, as may be necessary.
Post-Sales Stage
- Export Control - Responsibility of Export Control assessments for India. Lead required discussions internally with Legal India SPOC, Lead CCM and India Law firm. Complete required forms for submission to India Law Firm with approval of Legal India SPOC and Delivery lead India, as may be necessary.
- You will be responsible for driving Capgemini's compliance with the contract, providing advice on commercial and contractual matters to the sales and delivery teams and applying Capgemini's commercial best practice in the day-to-day management and administration of the contract.
- Provide commercial solutions for improvement of revenue and margin of the account, proactively suggest options for cost savings by utilizing contractual levers. Analyze challenging clauses, identify contractual risks and provide mitigations, ensure mitigation actions are implemented and tracked whether from the bid or as identified during the delivery stage.
- Interpretation of contractual wording and providing clarifications to internal stakeholders and Client counterparts to avoid / resolve contractual issues.
- Drafting of contractual documents including statement of work, contract change requests etc.
- Maintaining the contract through an efficient change management process to represent the dynamic execution environment.
Key Skills
- Thorough understanding of Legal forms, Export control requirements as per Indian Law
- Thorough understanding of key legal, financial and delivery principles
- Understanding of commercial and financial analysis principles
- Drafting and interpretation of contractual language
Secondary Skills
- Vast experience of working on large and complex global deals/ engagements in technology sector.
- People management & relationship building - Experience in dealing with senior client and supplier executives.
