**Job Summary:**

We are looking for an experienced Escalation Specialist to join our team at Amazon's GSOC in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting delivery associates on-road and customers receiving shipments or services from Amazon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide research and troubleshooting support to delivery associates on-road and customers.
  • Triage and prioritize incoming incidents, working closely with crisis management leadership.
  • Transfer lower severity calls to relevant partners, such as Customer Service and Shipping/Delivery Services.
  • Manage phone communications and facilitate information flow between internal and external customers.
  • Compose clear and concise reports in a timely manner.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent customer service skills, good judgment, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage your workload during periods of high activity.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both Japanese and English languages.
  • Strong computer skills, including data entry, Microsoft Office Suite, and typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
  • Able to operate multiple software applications concurrently and navigate websites efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with attention to detail.
  • Composure, empathy, and a professional attitude are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least three months of customer service experience in a Call Centre or similar environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Criminal Justice, Politics, or Business Administration.
  • Background in conflict resolution, crisis management, and customer expectation-setting.
  • Familiarity with working in high-pressure situations and managing workloads under stress.
