AI/ML Engineering Lead

As an AI/ML Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and data scientists in developing robust machine learning systems using Python. Your expertise in designing, building, and deploying machine learning models and end-to-end solutions will drive the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems.
  • Design and deploy scalable and efficient machine learning systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of AI/ML projects.
  • Implement end-to-end data science processes, including data preprocessing and modeling.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage and retrieve data effectively.
  • Develop RESTful APIs using Python web frameworks.
  • Diagnose issues and optimize existing code for performance improvements.
  • Follow Agile software development lifecycle practices.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI models focusing on Large Language Models and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
  • Evaluate models based on statistical analysis and performance metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 years of hands-on experience with Python programming.
  • 5 years of experience building, training, and deploying Machine Learning and Deep Learning models.
  • Proficiency with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
  • Solid experience with Python web frameworks for API development.
  • Strong expertise in NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, SpaCy, NLTK, and HuggingFace Transformers.
  • Deep understanding of ML/DL algorithms, with advanced techniques in NLP and/or Computer Vision.
  • Proven experience designing and deploying AI solutions leveraging LLMs and RAG.
  • Hands-on expertise in text representation, semantic extraction, sentiment analysis, and conversational AI.
  • Practical knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming in Python.
  • Advanced skills in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MariaDB) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
  • Experience with containerization, cloud platforms, and familiarity with MLOps principles.
  • Proficient understanding of Git and Bitbucket for software version control.
