
Executive Communications Director

We are seeking a seasoned Public Relations Manager to lead our communications efforts. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communications strategies that drive results.
- Stay current on client businesses, industries, and competitors, utilizing this knowledge to create targeted communications programs aligned with client objectives.
- Maintain open communication channels between clients and the account team, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Oversee quality implementation of communications initiatives within set timeframes and budgets.
- Nurture strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary contact, advisor, and strategic partner.
- Make timely decisions, leveraging available information and tight deadlines to drive success.
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills, crafting various materials such as Q&A sessions, key messages, holding statements, and press releases.
- Support senior managers in resolving client issues and maintain a strong rapport with journalists, bloggers, and media members who cover clients' industries and businesses.
- Develop media strategies, write pitch letters, and respond to media inquiries, staying updated on social media trends and analytical tools.
- Contribute to the implementation of digital media strategies.
In addition to leading communications efforts, you will also support Directors and senior leaders in identifying new business opportunities within existing and potential clients.
- Participate in new business brainstorming sessions, taking ownership of portions of proposals under guidance from Directors and senior leaders.
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- At least 6 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the banking, insurance, and/or capital markets sector or a related field.
- A proven ability to understand and implement processes, effectively aligning teams to new tasks and workflows.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
