We are seeking a seasoned professional to play a critical role in ensuring the robust functionality, performance, and security of our APIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive API test cases to validate the functionality, reliability, performance, and security of APIs.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of API responses, ensuring they align with specified requirements and data contracts.
  • Analyze logs and response data to debug API issues, collaborating closely with development teams for timely resolution.
  • Design and implement strategies for API security testing, protecting sensitive information and identifying vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in software testing, with a specific focus on API testing.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of API testing tools and techniques.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ for test automation and scripting.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs, including request/response structures and status codes.
  • Familiarity with data formats like JSON and XML.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with API test automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating API tests.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with performance testing concepts for APIs.
