We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Expert to lead our mechanical maintenance team at TrueJob.

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for implementing the department's goals and targets in line with our company's strategic objectives. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective maintenance standards, systems, and improvement plans to ensure the optimal performance of our steel plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of Departmental Goals and Targets: Work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies that align with our company's overall business plan.
  • Maintenance Standards and Systems Development: Design and implement efficient maintenance systems and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Foster a culture of excellence within the maintenance team by providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Shut-Down Job Planning: Plan and coordinate shut-down activities to ensure minimal disruption to production and maximum efficiency in completing maintenance tasks.
  • Corrective and Preventive Actions: Identify and address any delays or interruptions related to mechanical issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing the impact on production.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7-13 years of experience in maintenance activities within a steel plant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team towards achieving common goals.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard quality management systems, such as ISO 9001:2015, and the ability to implement them effectively.
