Mechanical Division Head

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Division Head to join our team at TrueJob.

Purpose of the Job

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing goals and targets for the department in line with the company's overall strategy. You will develop maintenance standards for the department, implement systems and strategies for long-term planning, and work on improving departmental performance to meet customer needs.

Requirements:

• Ctc lacs
• Educational qualifications - Degree or Diploma or Equivalent in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
• 7 - 13 Years experience of working in Maintenance activities of Steel Plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish a safe working culture across the plant.
• Maximize plant availability through effective maintenance strategies.
• Plan and execute shutdown jobs efficiently.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize delays.
• Develop and implement annual maintenance plans.
• Collaborate with operations and electrical teams to ensure zero production downtime.
• Ensure achievement of all maintenance objectives for the Bar Mill.
• Evaluate mill challenges and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality systems.
• Ensure training compliance among subordinates.
• Manage manpower effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Document processes and activities.
• Participate in Special/Corporate level initiatives.
