Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Airport MEPF Maintenance Specialist to join our team.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the efficient functioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems across airport facilities.
  • Collaborate with the Lead - MEPF to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for MEPF systems to avoid system failures.
  • Support the planning of system shutdowns or upgrades with an emphasis on minimizing operational disruption, especially during peak airport hours.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
  • Take a proactive role in troubleshooting routine MEPF system malfunctions and assist in identifying the root cause of issues.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assist the Lead in resolving technical problems and ensuring prompt response to minimize system downtime.
  • Provide input on long-term corrective solutions for recurring problems.

Maintenance Scheduling:
  • Track maintenance costs and assist in ensuring that tasks are completed within the allocated budget.
  • Identify and suggest opportunities to optimize resources and reduce maintenance costs while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Safety Protocols:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Actively participate in safety briefings, training, and site inspections to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure that MEPF systems are compliant with safety and environmental regulations, including fire safety codes and electrical standards.

Team Support:
  • Provide support to junior engineers and technicians, ensuring clear communication of tasks and assisting with technical guidance.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members to improve their technical skills and efficiency in maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with the team to foster a positive working environment focused on achieving shared goals.

Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed records of all electrical and mechanical maintenance activities, including inspection reports, repair logs, and system performance data.
  • Generate reports on equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency to help optimize cargo handling processes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years of experience in maintaining MEPF systems. They should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairs, preferably in an airport, large commercial facilities, or industrial buildings.
