MEPF Lead Position Overview

This is a senior-level role that oversees the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems across the airport facility.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of engineers and technicians. They must also possess strong technical knowledge and experience in MEPF system management.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for MEPF systems to minimize disruptions to airport operations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to prioritize maintenance activities and ensure critical systems receive immediate attention when necessary.
  • Plan for shutdowns or system upgrades while minimizing downtime during peak airport operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all MEPF systems comply with local, regional, and international regulations, including fire safety codes, electrical safety standards, and environmental guidelines. They will also develop and implement comprehensive quality control processes to maintain high standards across all phases of MEPF maintenance.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will need to collaborate with contractors, engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure MEPF installations align with overall project timelines and milestones.

Regular site inspections, reviewing installed systems to verify compliance with quality standards, are also a key responsibility of this position. Documenting findings and communicating any discrepancies to the team will be crucial to maintaining the integrity of MEPF systems.

Additionally, the successful candidate will lead energy conservation initiatives by identifying areas of inefficiency within the HVAC systems and implementing industry best practices for energy saving. Collaborating with the team to set and meet energy reduction goals will also be an important aspect of this role.
