Job Title: Lead Mechanical Designer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanical Designer to play a key role in our product development team.

  1. Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components, including bills of material and documentation as per ISO 9004:2015 standards.
  2. Design and create assembly and part drawings, as well as 3D models for new product development projects.
  3. Create accurate bills of material (BOMs) and maintain ISO documents to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  4. Modify existing designs based on manufacturing and sourcing team requirements to optimize production efficiency.
  5. Prepare design and drawings for new product development and reverse engineering activities.
  6. Analyze product costs with other brands and perform MOC analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Develop and implement design standards and procedures to ensure consistency across all products.
  8. Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to stakeholders.
  9. Manage and work on all ISO 9001:2015 related design documents to ensure compliance.
  10. Train production, assembly, and quality assurance personnel on approved manufacturing, test, and inspection procedures.
  11. Resolve process and product-related issues to support the manufacturing and sourcing team in completing dispatch orders.
  12. Act promptly on customer complaints to resolve within a selected timeframe.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Auto Cad 2D, Solid Works, and Siemens NX (Unigraphics)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
