BIM Project Manager

Job Description:

The BIM project manager will be responsible for leading the organization's Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy, implementation, and management across multiple projects. This role involves overseeing BIM teams, developing standards, ensuring quality control, integrating digital design processes, and driving innovation through advanced BIM practices. The candidate should have strong leadership, technical expertise, and proven experience in managing large-scale BIM-enabled projects.

This position requires a deep understanding of BIM workflows, including data management, collaboration, and coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience with BIM software platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Dynamo, and related digital tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage BIM execution strategies, protocols, and standards across the organization.
  • Lead the BIM team and coordinate with multidisciplinary design, engineering, and construction teams.
  • Oversee BIM project delivery for infrastructure, buildings, and industrial projects.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international BIM standards (ISO 19650, etc.).
  • Integrate BIM with project management, design, cost estimation, and construction workflows.
  • Manage BIM software platforms (Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, etc.) and coordinate with IT for upgrades and support.
  • Conduct quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) checks on BIM models and outputs.
  • Drive innovation in digital engineering, including automation, computational design, and digital twins.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and support to BIM coordinators, modelers, and project teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors regarding BIM implementation and project execution.
  • Prepare progress reports, presentations, and ensure timely delivery of BIM deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in BIM, with at least 12 years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Strong expertise in BIM platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Dynamo, and related digital tools.
  • Experience in handling large-scale infrastructure, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of BIM standards, LOD specifications, and coordination processes.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in digital transformation and emerging technologies (AR/VR, digital twins, AI in design) is an added advantage.
