Evaluates, tests, recommends, develops, coordinates, monitors, and maintains infrastructure security policies, procedures, and systems, including hardware, firmware, and software.

Ensures that infrastructure security architecture/designs, plans, controls, processes, standards, policies, and procedures are aligned with operational standards and overall IS security.

Identifies security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations, and suggests procedures to halt future incidents.

Investigates and resolves infrastructure security incidents and recommends enhancements to improve security.

Develops techniques and procedures for conducting infrastructure security risk assessments and compliance audits, the evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware, and software for possible impact on infrastructure security, and the investigation and resolution of security incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provides Level I technical support and develops more in-depth knowledge of security infrastructure processes, concepts, software, and hardware platforms by assisting with the support and troubleshooting of hardware and application services across a heterogeneous network infrastructure escalates issues requiring more experience and in-depth knowledge.
  2. Assists with the maintenance of security infrastructure software/hardware platforms and begins to build knowledge of scheduled security and network changes in accordance with corporate change control procedures (e.g. outage that may impact Service Level Agreement).
  3. Assists with determining test connectivity requirements and firewall rules for implementations.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp.
