Key Role Summary

Ours is a unique opportunity to work as trusted financial advisors for an established company focusing on cutting-edge AI advancements.

We will focus on defining the finance charter and strengthening the governance framework, including validating financial targets, setting up budgetary controls, and controllership functions for India and US entities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Leverage Corporate Finance expertise for India and lead external and internal reporting of financial information, encompassing month-end close process and annual audits.
  • Manage monthly close, audits, and procurement processes effectively.
  • Display strong familiarity with US GAAP/IFRS-based financial standards, especially service revenue recognition.
  • Oversee treasury, payment gateway, and banking relationships.
  • Possess expertise in financial models, AOP, and ability to model complex business scenarios.
  • Understand unit-level metrics.
  • Familiarity with US and India taxes to ensure compliance and filings.
  • A basic understanding of secretarial and legal contracts – timeline and laws.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant with 6+ years of overall experience and 4 years in finance controllership/tax function.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills are a must.
  • Hands-on expertise on ERP systems, process implementation, and familiarity with technical accounting standards.
  • A clear understanding of financial planning, financial management, budgeting, forecasting, compliances, and business growth strategy.
  • Maturity to influence key stakeholders and work under pressure while ensuring quality output.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to express complex and abstract ideas concisely.
