Chief Financial Officer Job Description

We seek an experienced Chief Financial Officer who can provide strategic leadership and hands-on financial management The role requires deep expertise in financial oversight negotiations cost optimization and performance management within the firm and our portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management & Control:
    • Oversee monthly quarterly and annual closings.
    • Lead forecasting budgeting and financial modeling processes.
    • Implement budget control mechanisms across the firm and portfolio companies.
    • Consolidate financial data ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Strategic Finance & Business Partnering:
    • Review financial reporting of ElevenX Capital and portfolio companies.
    • Provide diligence during investments M&A fundraising and exits.
    • Support leadership with actionable insights on capital allocation and ROI.
  • Negotiations & Contract Oversight:
    • Lead contract negotiations with clients vendors and employees.
    • Manage financial/legal negotiations for optimal outcomes.
  • Performance Management & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Drive company-wide performance management linking KPIs to financial outcomes.
    • Support leadership in building compensation structures tied to performance.
  • Team Leadership & Oversight:
    • Lead and mentor finance teams for accurate reporting and compliance.
    • Establish strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Strong track record in closing FP&A budgeting and cost optimization.
  • Hands-on experience in contract negotiations and corporate finance.

Skills must be strategically astute and operationally effective. They will excel in a fast-paced investment environment and prioritize accurate financial management negotiation acumen and analytical skills making them invaluable assets to any organization they join.
