Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our academic community as a medical biochemistry/microbiology lecturer. We are seeking a talented and experienced professional who can deliver high-quality teaching, provide academic support, and contribute to the development of course materials and curriculum content.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging teaching sessions using appropriate learning technologies and media, adopting a learner-centered approach, and providing ongoing academic support to students. They will also be involved in the operational planning and delivery of modules and academic programs, proactively identifying and resolving emerging academic or student-related issues.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and committed to excellence in academic practice. The ideal candidate will have a Master's / Doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline, prior teaching experience in a higher education setting, and expertise in curriculum development and assessment design.

Additionally, the successful candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a student-focused teaching philosophy, and the ability to work collaboratively in an academic team. Proficiency in digital learning tools and platforms is also essential.

As a key member of our academic team, you will have the opportunity to engage in research and scholarly activities that inform teaching practices and contribute to academic excellence. You will also participate in curriculum design and development, quality assurance activities, and institutional initiatives.
