Investment Portfolio Manager Role

This position plays a pivotal role in managing investment portfolios and driving their performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective investment strategies to achieve optimal returns.
  • Monitor and manage investment risk to minimize potential losses.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on fund performance to stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through effective communication and partnership.
  • Conduct in-depth research on potential investment opportunities, analyzing company and regulatory filings, competitor analysis, and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate the potential risks and returns of various investment options.
  • Support due diligence efforts by gathering and organizing information on prospective investments.
  • Lead and guide a team of research and data analysts in their work.
Qualifications
  • Advanced educational credentials such as CA, CFA (US), or MBA (Finance) are preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Fund Management is essential.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with a demonstrated interest in and passion for financial markets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • A commitment to accuracy and quality in research, with attention to detail and a focus on the investment process.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a desire to work collaboratively within a team environment.
