Job Description

This role focuses on reinforcing the supply chain by confirming open POs, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP systems and excellent negotiation skills.

  • Daily confirmation of open Purchase Orders for Distribution Centers
  • Project Sales Impact analysis based on shortages and past dues
  • Tracking On Hand stock versus requirements by site to identify potential risks
  • Collaboration with suppliers to gather potential substitutes for short materials
  • Demand Planning, Purchase Order creation, and timely acknowledgement and follow-up with suppliers
  • Managing open Purchase Orders through confirmations for deliveries, updating Enterprise Resource Planning systems, and managing orders until delivery
  • Meeting defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Creatng and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other related documents to meet Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
  • Timely resolution of 'On Hold' invoices for various sites by working closely with site teams, suppliers, and Internal Manufacturing teams
  • Day-to-day communication with stakeholders like Site Buyers, Supply Chain Managers, Suppliers, and attending site tier meetings
  • Working knowledge of ERP; Mapics, Vista preferred

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate in Engineering or Equivalent/ Post Graduate in any stream
  • 8-10 years of experience
  • Functional Skill
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of ERP
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a desire to work as part of a team
  • Driving results, effective communication, decision management
