About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting applied research, analyzing large datasets, and providing research-backed policy inputs to inform our development agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct applied research on economic growth, statistics, and public policy issues.
  • Analyze large datasets and apply econometric/statistical techniques for policy insights.
  • Draft policy briefs, reports, and presentations for decision-makers.
  • Engage with government officials, industry leaders, and academic stakeholders.
  • Contribute to roundtables, workshops, and consultations on policy challenges.
  • Support project design, proposal development, research project management and internal capability building.
  • Work with other researchers to ensure high-quality outputs.

Requirements:

  • Masters, MPhil, or PhD in Economics, Statistics, or related fields from a reputed institution.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in policy research, data analysis, consulting, or academia.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and econometrics (Stata/R/Python).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and independently manage research projects.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to adhere to research timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced policy environment.
