Job Role:

As an Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer, you will lead the effort to develop, assign, and manage maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment. This role supports asset reliability by developing and assigning appropriate equipment strategy. You will be the primary point of contact, overseeing equipment strategy assignment, collaborating with team members, and ensuring project success.

Purpose & Accountabilities:

  • Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology, including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzers, and control systems.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g., Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers).
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.

Requirements:

  • Skilled Instrument Maintenance Technician with understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, various field instruments.
