Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Securities Services Product team, driving strategic growth and operational excellence. This role is ideal for an individual with expertise in client onboarding, regulatory compliance, and product strategy.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversight of client onboarding process to ensure seamless integration
  • Ensuring adherence to banking/statutory requirements and securities industry updates
  • Participate in projects affecting custody processes arising from new/revised business areas
  • Initiate continual enhancements to productivity and quality of service in line with developments within Processing & Services Group
  • Planning for operational changes to meet securities and custody market developments
  • Responding promptly to clients' queries (24-hr turnaround / acknowledgement)
  • Liaising with clients on account structure for smooth SEBI account registration
  • Collaboration with other sections within branch, with Head Office on regulatory or operational issues impacting credit arrangements and overall Bank relationship
  • Keeping abreast of market developments and updating clients accordingly
  • Participation in execution of India custody product strategy, including ongoing priorities and annual investment decisions, and alignment with Indian regulatory changes and Group guidelines
  • Identification of areas of improvement in core products
  • Exploration of new business opportunities to shorten the chain of custody, drive efficiency, and reduce risk
  • Participation in Industry groups across the region to drive market leadership and change
  • Partnering with clients and industry participants to drive and deliver value-added products
  • Collaboration on commercial topics with key stakeholders and business partners across functions, including legal, risk, and compliance
