Manual Software Tester

Overview
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies for software applications.
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases to ensure thorough coverage of features and functionalities.
- Conduct functional, regression, UI, integration, and UAT testing across multiple platforms.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla to ensure clear reproduction steps and accurate statuses.
- Maintain and update test artifacts—test plans, test cases, checklists, and test reports—to facilitate traceability and transparency.
- Engage in Agile/scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to align testing efforts with development cycles.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to clarify requirements, replicate issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Evaluate the implications of new features and changes on existing functionality to prioritize testing effectively.
- Maintain and update test artifacts—test plans, test cases, checklists, and test reports—to facilitate traceability and transparency.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of focused manual testing experience across web and/or mobile applications.
- Proficiency in formalizing test documentation—test plans, cases, checklists, and test reports.
- Experience using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla with strong defect logging and tracking capabilities.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, and familiarity with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) workflows.
- Exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills.
