Software Tester Job Description

Ensuring the quality of software applications is a crucial aspect of our organization's success. As an Automation Tester, you will play a vital role in developing and executing automated tests to guarantee seamless user experiences.

To excel in this position, you must possess strong programming skills in Java with hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver. A thorough understanding of framework design and development, including Page Object Model, Hybrid, Data-driven approaches, is also essential.

Furthermore, successful candidates should have experience with mobile automation (Appium or similar) and API testing & automation (RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools). Proficiency in CBTA (Component-Based Test Automation) knowledge and practical usage is highly desirable.

A good grasp of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and the ability to support functional/manual testing teams are also required. Proficiency in test management & defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, or similar) and strong communication and client-facing skills are necessary for success in this role.

While not mandatory, exposure to modern automation tools like Playwright, TestCafe, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and testing microservices/containers (Docker, Kubernetes) would be an added advantage.
