Quality Assurance Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of everything we build. As a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist, you will design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using Playwright or similar modern frameworks.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with business requirements.

You will build reusable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.

You will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.

You will identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA and collaborate with engineering to drive resolution.

You will develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing efforts.

You will conduct performance testing, regression testing, and cross-browser testing to validate application quality across platforms.

You will stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in test automation and share insights with the team.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of total experience in software testing with 3+ years specifically in test automation using Playwright or equivalent frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience writing test scripts for browser automation.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and experience using tools like Postman, Swagger or similar for API testing.
  • Experience with version control systems and collaborative workflows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins or CircleCI.
  • Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and comfort working in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
