Software Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products through rigorous testing procedures. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and user satisfaction.
You must have a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute test cases and scenarios to identify software defects and ensure product functionality meets specified requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve identified defects.
- Document test results, defects, and issues encountered during testing, ensuring clear and concise communication to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in requirement analysis and review to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with project objectives.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in test case management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail), defect tracking systems, and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
- Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases for data validation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Actively participate in team meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospective meetings to drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the QA team.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and QA trends to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
- Provide input into the overall QA strategy, including test planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation.
