Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist. As a key member of our product quality team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality in our software applications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test design templates and test plans to ensure thorough testing of our products.
  • Perform hands-on testing and deliver results on short timelines, highlighting any defects or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Developers, Product Managers, and Support Teams, to understand requirements and determine the scope of testing.
  • Identify gaps and prioritize issues, working closely with functional groups to resolve them efficiently.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in web application testing.
  • Familiarity with HTML, ARIA, REST API, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as browser behavior.
  • Understanding of various testing methodologies, including white box testing, black box testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and regression testing.
  • Experience working with tracking tools like Jira/Sentry/Redmine/Bugzilla.
  • Able to quickly identify and troubleshoot production support tickets.
  • Strong debugging skills and ability to effectively communicate bug causes.
  • Ability to influence the development team to address backlog bugs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Knowledge of development technologies such as Java, JavaScript, REST API, ReactJs, and CSS.
  • Experience in automated testing of web applications.
  • Background in Agile development lifecycle.
