Logistics Business Development Manager

  • This key position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of logistics operations and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations for C-level executives and technical stakeholders, showcasing the value proposition of our logistics technology solutions.
  • Lead the technical aspects of sales presentations for enterprise prospects, providing tailored solution proposals that meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and develop targeted marketing strategies.
  • Create technical documents, responses, and solution materials that effectively communicate the benefits of our solutions.

Solution Design & Consultation:

  • Assess prospect's existing logistics operations and identify areas for optimization, recommending data-driven solutions that drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Design end-to-end logistics technology solutions that align with client business objectives, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand integration requirements and constraints, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Provide expert guidance on API integrations, data migration, and system compatibility, facilitating successful implementation.
  • Work closely with the product team to influence the development roadmap, incorporating market feedback and customer insights.

Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with business and technical decision-makers, building trust and credibility through exceptional service and support.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between prospects and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage multiple concurrent presales cycles with enterprise accounts, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Conduct on-site visits for process assessments and stakeholder alignment, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Support the customer success team during implementation and onboarding phases, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and technical forums, promoting thought leadership and expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Technology.
  • 3-5 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, management, or supply chain consulting, with a focus on logistics and SAAS/cloud-based enterprise solutions.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations: TMS, WMS, route optimization, fleet management, and knowledge of supply chain processes: procurement, inventory management, distribution.
  • Experience with integration platforms and enterprise software ecosystems, including API integrations and system compatibility.
