Orbit & Skyline is seeking a skilled engineer to fill the role of Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of various electronics and electrical components. They will be part of a team providing efficient engineering support and solutions to customers, while contributing to the development of the Indian semiconductor ecosystem.

  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods
  • Work on obsolescence activities with replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with documentation
  • End-to-end ownership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify engineering solutions
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that develop into detailed drawings for manufacturing
  • Participate in design reviews to present designs throughout the different phases of design and development

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics with 3-5 years' experience
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience
  • Must be comfortable working with US-based timings

Mandatory Skills:

  • Good understanding of electronic components, schematics/system interconnect
  • Select and recommend components based on application and circuit requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Critical/system-level thinking
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good to have:

  • Experience with part lifecycle management, change orders using PLM systems
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
