We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Electrical Specialist to develop, assign, and manage maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzers, and control systems.

They must be able to review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.

A successful Instrumentation and Electrical Specialist will possess a deep understanding of asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.

They will also have knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards, and be skilled in instrument maintenance techniques including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation.

In addition to technical expertise the selected candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Purpose & Accountabilities:
  • Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • Understanding of asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Understanding of Preventive, Predictive, Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
  • Skilled Instrument Maintenance Technics with understanding of the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation.
