Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to lead month-end close activities in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the accounting team in preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP;
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of financial tasks and projects;
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy;
  • Provide guidance and training to junior staff members on accounting procedures and standards;
  • Analyze financial data and prepare forecasts and projections to inform business decisions;
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit process;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field;
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in MIS/Statutory Reporting;
  • Preferred experience in a technology company, particularly with subscription or SaaS business;
  • Proven experience in MNC environment and knowledge of Finance and Accounting in other markets. MIS and Financial reporting;
  • Experience managing the month end close process with a close cycle of 4 business days or less
  • Knowledge/experience in Accounting Standards: U.S. GAAP or IGAAP
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel features and functionalities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
