Job Title: Financial Services Taxation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Taxation Manager to lead our team in the taxation of financial services. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for reviewing complex client returns, identifying international filing requirements, and training staff on tax concepts and technology.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing complex financial services client returns with attention to detail and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying international filing requirements by studying organizational charts and reviewing international tax returns.
  • Training existing and new joiners on tax concepts and technology to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
  • Supervising kick-off calls to understand client needs and regular connects with US counterparts to ensure adherence to timelines and high-quality work.
  • Guiding staff on potential tax adjustments due to tax law changes and providing expert advice to ensure smooth operations.
  • Recruiting, training, performance evaluating, and mentoring team members to ensure their growth and development.
  • Collaborating with US counterparts to achieve organizational goals and ensuring seamless communication throughout the process.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (US), or IRS Enrolled Agent with experience in detail review of tax returns.
  • Knowledge of CCh Axcess Tax, Gofile room, Case ware, and other relevant software used in the industry.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in financial services returns, with a strong background in taxation and compliance.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) to communicate with colleagues and clients across the globe.
  • The ability to learn quickly, work enthusiastically, maintain a positive demeanor, and demonstrate teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues related to taxation and compliance.
  • Multitasking skills to handle various projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
