About the Opportunity:

  • We seek an experienced professional to lead our Treasury operations, focusing on optimal liquidity and funding strategies.
  • This role involves developing a strong understanding of our portfolio, its financing structure, and dynamics to analyze causes for change in liquidity.
  • You will understand various margining methodologies of agreements and track internal margin views.
  • Implement end-to-end solutions for margin/financing, broker revenue, and counterparty exposure information.
  • Onboard new clients by gathering requirements and showcasing capabilities.
  • Manage stakeholders' expectations by identifying needs, articulating scope, escalating issues, and showcasing persuasiveness.
  • Enhance knowledge on the Client platform/industry beyond current expertise.
  • Perform data gathering, GAP analysis, mapping, data transformation, loading, reconciliation, BAU activities setup, client parallel support, etc., in the Client platform.
  • Collaborate with technology teams on special projects, report development, specification development, product implementation, and UAT.
  • Oversight of Treasury and Cash Management operations to ensure optimal liquidity and funding strategies.
  • Manage Collateral and Liquidity positions to support trading and risk management activities.
  • Timely and accurate response to Margin Calls.
  • Synchronize Securities Lending transactions to maximize asset utilization.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Treasury with domain/finance knowledge.
  • Collateral management and financing agreements as well as margin methodologies.
  • Experience in securities lending and borrowing with optimized portfolio financing.
  • Data sources like Reuters, Bloomberg, Markit for Treasury attributes.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Margin Calls and Security Lending.
  • Treasury/Cash Management and Collateral/Liquidity Management understanding.
  • A proven track-record of handling projects and improving processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude.
  • Effective oral/written communications skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and take on operational tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros/Python is advantageous.
