Director of Business Education

About the Role:

The Director of Business Education is a key position responsible for leading and managing various aspects of business education at an esteemed institution. This individual will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of academic programs, research initiatives, consultancy projects, faculty development programs, and management development programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty and staff in planning, designing, and executing long-term academic programs aligned with industry standards and emerging trends.
  • Drive the development of Faculty Development Programs and Management Development Programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of faculty and students.
  • Prepare strategic plans for the business school, aligning them with the institution's vision and goals.
  • Oversee the execution of consultancy projects that contribute to academic and industry advancements.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry leaders, alumni, and the academic community.
  • Direct initiatives to elevate the reputation of the institution through the achievements and contributions of the business school.

Requirements:

  • A PhD degree from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 8 years of university teaching and administrative experience.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Participative leadership and consensus building abilities.
  • Creativity, innovation, and the energy and intellect to work collaboratively with the faculty to develop a challenging and compelling vision of business education.
