Lead Revenue Specialist

This position involves leading the entire revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP (ASC 606) and accurately accounting for customer contracts. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in revenue accounting under US GAAP, particularly ASC 606.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with cross-functional teams to guarantee accurate data flow and contract interpretations.
  2. Analyze customer contracts to determine proper revenue recognition treatment.
  3. Prepare revenue-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  4. Ensure timely follow-up for prompt collections from customers.
  5. Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
  6. Collaborate on process improvement initiatives and automation of revenue reporting and reconciliation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5+ years of experience in revenue recognition or technical accounting.
  3. Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
