Overview

Zehn Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Chartered Accountant to lead our accounting team. As a Senior Financial Controller, you will play a key role in implementing and maintaining financial systems and processes.

Estimated Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum

About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least 4-5 years of relevant experience and be certified with a recognized accounting association. You will oversee the duties of the accounting team, implement accounting systems, reconcile income statements, prepare monthly financial reports, and ensure compliance with state revenue service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accounting team's work, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to company policies.
  • Implement and maintain accurate and efficient financial systems and processes, including QuickBooks and other relevant software.
  • Reconcile income statements, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare detailed monthly financial reports, analyzing trends and providing insights for business decisions.
  • Control the master data of the general register, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Review and release online banking payments, ensuring smooth cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with state revenue service regulations, staying up-to-date with tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide ongoing accounting and reporting support to stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.
  • Manage the full financial process, from budgeting to forecasting, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Prepare an expense budget report, identifying areas for cost optimization.
  • Conduct tax planning and oversight for special projects, ensuring compliance and minimizing tax liabilities.
  • Prepare income tax returns, accurately reflecting the company's financial situation.
  • Provide accurate reports on the company's finances to government agencies, meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Review tax forms, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Resolve any tax-related issues for the business or client, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with businesses and clients, fostering long-term partnerships.

Requirements

  • Expert handling of QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.
  • Knowledge of local and federal tax laws and regulations.
  • Expert knowledge in Foreign remittance, including currency exchange and transfer procedures.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and concise reporting.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and precision.
  • Excellent numeracy and mathematical knowledge, with ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • Time management skills, prioritizing tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
