Content Development Manager

Description:

This is a key role for the development of our series projects, requiring someone with strong creative vision and strategic execution skills.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of series projects across various formats including web series and television series.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop content strategies that align with our company's audience preferences and brand values.
  • To collaborate with external writers and directors to create compelling, culturally relevant series scripts.
  • To work closely with marketing and analytics teams to ensure series performance meets our strategic goals.

  • Strong understanding of human emotions and cinematic techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Able to provide detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement to ensure scripts are culturally resonant and meet high quality standards.

Production Process:

The successful candidate will oversee the script development and production processes, managing timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of series.

User Engagement:

The content leader must conduct thorough audience research to understand preferences and trends that can influence content development.

Reporting & Insights:

The role requires regular reporting on series performance, providing insights and recommendations for future projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in content management or a related role within the long duration content production or OTT industry.
  • Must have experience in writing scripts and possess directorial experience in a OTT/TV/production house environment.
