Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our operations management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in cash application and process improvement.

1. Cash Reconciliation: Daily and monthly reconciliations against bank statements to identify and resolve discrepancies on customer accounts.
2. Offset Processing: Process offsets to clear matched debts and credits on customer accounts.
3. Unapplied Cash Report Management: Manage the Unapplied Cash report and work with Collections to identify solutions to unreconciled cash items.
4. Leadership: Provide indirect leadership to cash applications, internal finance leadership, and cross-functional business partners related to cash management best practices.
5. Process Improvement: Support and contribute to accounts receivable accounting lean process improvements.
6. Regional Hub Function Operations: Act as regional Business Partner/SPOC and own regional Hub function operations performance updates and action plans.
7. Alignment: Align GBS priorities, roadmap, projects, and initiatives with Market/Region demand.
8. Operational Excellence: Drive process improvement, standardization, and operational excellence with regional scope for Hub operations function.
9. Project Implementation: Lead in partnership with GPO implementation/deployment of projects and initiatives in a compliant manner.
10. Testing and Bridge: Lead the testing and bridge between processes and systems.
11. E2E Process Analysis: Drive FIT/GAP analysis on relevant E2Es that touch their area of expertise for the markets in scope of GBS, proposing process changes and/or system updates.
12. Troubleshooting: Lead troubleshooting processes defects in partnership with GPOs and Global Hub.
13. KPI Monitoring: Monitor KPI/OKRs and act when needed.
14. Liaison: Act as liaison between DE, GPO, Global Hub, and others to implement process improvements/changessupport Internal Controls implementation and monitoring.

• Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Leadership Experience: Managed a minimum team size of 25 FTE.
• Cash Application Expertise: Prior experience as SME for I2C-Cash Application.
• SAP Knowledge: Solid experience with SAP and specific area's tools.
• E2E Process Knowledge: E2E process knowledge and respective interactions with other teams.
• Continuous Improvement Tools: Solid knowledge of continuous improvement tools.
• Shared Service Environment: Experience in a Shared Service environment or similar.
• Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English in a business setting.
• Customer Orientation: Ability to pay close attention to detail and high degree of customer orientation.
• Interpersonal Skills: Solid interpersonal skills combined with a high degree of customer orientation; can navigate easily within complex organizations, connect with a variety of functions, audiences, management styles, or cultures.

• Education: University degree in Commerce/Business Administration/Finance/Controlling or similar.
• Experience: 12 plus years relevant work experience in the accounting/business area.
