Technical Lead - Web Development\

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to oversee the development of our web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with modern front-end technologies and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Lead the development of scalable and maintainable web solutions using modular and reusable components.
  • Drive and guide new development efforts for component-based website systems, ensuring proper integration with content management systems.
  • Provide high-level direction on front-end architecture and technical design/implementation of websites.
  • Maintain and improve overall website performance while ensuring compliance with current standards and best practices.
  • Review team designs and provide feedback on deployment safety, resilience, scale, performance, and security.
  • Facilitate discussions with Product and UX Design teams on customer needs, user experience, implementation efficiency, and performance.
  • Ensure all changes are thoroughly tested before deployment.
  • Plan deployments carefully, including scalability and load tests.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of extensive experience with Drupal (Drupal 7/8/9) architecture, APIs, and module development.
  • Proficiency in LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js).
  • Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with website search technologies and solutions like OpenSearch, Solr, and Elastic Search.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
