Web Development Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our web development team.

This role will be responsible for overseeing full-cycle web development projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery aligned with business goals.

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team of web developers and project managers.
  • Architect, develop and maintain scalable web applications using PHP frameworks and WordPress.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution – from requirement gathering to delivery – ensuring quality, timeliness and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and WordPress.
  • Proven experience in leading web development teams and managing complex projects.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, multisite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git), deployment tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with hosting environments and cloud platforms.
  • Agile/Scrum project management experience.
