We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Lead to spearhead the testing strategy and execution for a project utilizing Databricks, Data Factory pipelines, and Power BI.

Job Description:

This role requires an experienced professional with expertise in testing data pipelines using Python, SQL, and other relevant tools. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute testing strategies to ensure high-quality data pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in data pipeline/ETL testing with at least 2+ years as a Test Lead
  • Strong experience testing ETL workflows (Databricks, Data Factory workflows), SQL Data Warehouse, BI reports, and dashboards
  • Hands-on experience with X-Ray for JIRA test management
  • Solid understanding of ETL testing, SQL queries, and data validation techniques
  • Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket for version control and Jenkins for CI/CD automation
  • Hands-on experience with BDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar frameworks)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Agile methodologies, Scrum/Kanban, and DevOps integration
  • Cloud platforms supporting Databricks, Data Factory, and SQL
  • SQL, Python for test automation in data pipelines
  • Performance testing of BI reports and data warehouses
