Software Engineer for Wealth Management Solutions

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at MSCI, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge software for financial insights. Our team is looking for an experienced engineer to develop our application's wealth management experiences.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with both software and financial engineers to foster a culture of shared knowledge and rapid delivery of incremental customer value through pair programming.
- Develop front-end experiences by building modular and reusable components with sensible state management using React and Redux.
- Design and implement scalable REST APIs that deliver business logic to the front-end interfaces, ensuring a seamless and responsive experience.
- Work with the team to solve engineering and customer problems, delivering direct customer value and high-quality software to production.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in developing robust, efficient, and scalable backends in Golang and Node, with a grasp of language semantics.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, including writing and maintaining unit tests, integration tests, and property-based tests to ensure high code quality and reliability.
- API design and implementation skills, emphasizing usability, security, and efficiency in crafting and deploying RESTful APIs.
- Service integration and data transformation expertise, integrating application code with external services and databases while transforming and normalizing data for effective analysis and consumption.
- Performance optimization skills, developing high-performance code that consistently meets or surpasses specific latency targets.
