Senior Taxation Professional

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Taxation Professional to play a key role in our operations, responsible for preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns, developing tax-efficient strategies, conducting tax research, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Collaborate with clients to develop customized tax-efficient strategies and solutions that minimize tax liabilities and maximize benefits.
  3. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations through comprehensive tax research, ensuring timely implementation of new requirements and optimization of tax planning opportunities.
  4. Maintain effective communication with clients to build and strengthen relationships, ensure timely delivery of services, and provide exceptional support throughout the tax preparation process.
  5. Analyze and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide valuable insights and inform business decisions.
  6. Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  7. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections, to ensure seamless financial operations.
  8. Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
