**Job Summary:**

A Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for protecting an organization's digital infrastructure by monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to potential security threats.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, attack vectors, and threat detection. They will be proficient in common security tools, such as endpoint detection and response (EDR), intrusion detection systems/intrusion prevention systems (IDS/IPS), vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.

The successful candidate will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, incident triage, and reporting capabilities. Additionally, they will be familiar with regulatory standards, security controls, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and analyzing network traffic and system logs to detect potential security threats
  • Investigating and responding to security incidents in a timely and effective manner
  • Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect against cyber threats
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address security risks

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity
  • Hands-on experience working with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or similar)
  • Proficiency in common security tools: EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection
  • Ability to analyze logs from firewalls, antivirus, email security, and threat intelligence sources
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP protocols and network infrastructure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, incident triage, and reporting capabilities
